The Notorious Biscuit

I thought that yesterday was just going to be just your normal, weekly, and uneventful, yet yearned for Friday . . . I was wrong. You see, yesterday, the 7th of June, 2013, I became acquainted with the “Notorious Biscuit.” The meeting was sudden, abrupt, and nothing short of magical.
When the waitress brought out the “Notorious Biscuit,” I was dumbstruck. T’was the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. It was sitting on a bed of liquid chocolate situated in the center of a glass plate. The bottom was made of a chocolate cookie crust, the filling of a frozen, creamy vanilla mousse. All this was encased in a whipped cream frosting while proudly sporting a single cookie on top. The devouring of that single slice of cake could quite possibly be one of the greatest moments of my life (Sadly, there is no picture to be had of the “Notorious Biscuit” because yours truly could simply not wait to dig in).

One thing I have noticed here is that many of the Americanized desserts have names rather sexual in nature. For instance, there is a brand of ice cream at the peripteros by the name of “Scandal.” Actual ice cream flavor names include chocolate orgy, and vanilla secrets, and their motto is “My daily pleasure.” On the restaurant's dessert menu yesterday, everything from chocolate fantasy to banana explosion to the actual notorious biscuit was listed. Though I am unsure of why the restaurants use such erotic names for their dessert, I do in fact agree that they are sinfully delicious.
